Ok, that all sounds great but what is the Parallel Solution. The technical answer is that it utilizes a patent pending technology that allows us the ability to tie together the benefits of merchant processing, both onshore and offshore, which will allow a merchant the ability to manage volume, chargebacks, and overall customer experience all through a single interface. This way, you, our customer, can finally take back control of your payment processing and your business. You now have the power to decide when to send a transaction to one bank vs. another, either because of chargeback issues, processing caps, or for any reason you decide.
Two payment platforms, One Parallel Solution.
The not so technical answer is that it is a program that has grown out of our team's collective experience in this industry for the past 10 years. It was an observation by one studious individual that asked, "how do we obtain payment processing services for the small percentage of merchants that don't fit into the "typical" underwriting guidelines of US acquirers?"
That question and ultimate answer was only the first obstacle facing
the individual as well as these hard to place merchants. Once we
were able to obtain a merchant account for them, how do we ensure
that their provider doesn't change their risk underwriting parameters?
That's a tough one. We tried that route and realized that it all
boils down to the bank partner that is managing the risk. Therefore,
we came to the realization that we will need to begin by forming
relationships with banks that understand the challenges and benefits
of working with these merchants.
Next, even with those relationships
in place, we ascertained that we would
need to obtain multiple merchant accounts, both onshore and offshore,
for a single merchant. And finally the most daunting task of all.
How do we manage these multiple merchant accounts? Through many years
of trial and error, both on the technology forefront as well as the
bank partner selection process, we have succeeded in developing the
Parallel Solution.
